What a great post! Thanks for the link! I also received in an email recently that it has been reported in USA Today that some HFCS contains mercury.
Yup, that is true, too. Hopefully, none of us are consuming any of this stuff anyway, but that's one more thing to worry about if you give you kids "bug juice" (my husband's term for that red "juice" kids drink that has little to no actual juice in it). And of course, pregnant women need to be vigilant about reading labels. If you won't consume swordfish because of the mercury content, it would be a little silly to consume HFCS.
